Recently I have started voluntary help at Our Lady of Mercy Romania, showing the ladies patchwork and quilting by hand we are making table runners for the spring fair. They will learn hand piecing and hand appliqué and quilting if you wish to donate any sewing notions to them let me know.
Hi I have been finding my feet in Bucharest and settling in. Have found a very large fabric market selling all types of fabrics but very little cotton for dying.
I have done burn test on the ones I bought and all bar one had some other component in them although small.
i shall spend time dying them to see if they are natural.
I am heading back to London for the festival of quilts and hope to see you at virtual studio.
